This is a large entertaining and sports hall with marked out badminton court on the beech sprung floor. The ceiling height is over 6.1m and the hall has acoustic baffles.

To hire separately there is a demountable 6m x 5m stage with steps and safety railing. The LED stage lighting is controlled by a Jester ML24 dedicated lighting desk, also available separately.

The hall is licensed for the sale of alcohol, music and dancing. The seating is 140 – 150 people in audience style and 100 in banquet style. There are 170 stackable chairs, 20 collapsible large Gopak tables and 30 collapsible small Gopak tables.

There are double entrance doors from the foyer – 9.5m x 2.8m – which also has a servery hatch from the well-equipped fitted kitchen. There is an inner lobby to the WCs – ladies & gents (both with baby changing facilities) and a wheelchair accessible WC.

The fitted kitchen is well-equipped with induction hob 6-ring range cooker with two ovens, grill and hood, commercial dishwasher, fridge and microwave. The kitchen cupboards contain a full range of crockery, cutlery and glasses. There is a servery hatch to the lobby and a connecting door to the inner hallway, leading to the ladies and gents WCs and meeting rooms.

The Beacon Room is a perfect blank canvas.
With seating for 20 people in conference layout and 30 in audience layout this very pleasant room. It contains access to its own WC and also a neat kitchenette with a sink and electric kettle.

There is also access to the main lobby, the main kitchen and WCs including disabled facilities.

There is storage for chairs, tables and other equipment. It is an excellent party room.

The French windows provide good natural lighting and open to the south-facing paved and grassed areas.

Headlands Playing Field & Pavilion

Headlands Playing Field is located on the edge of the village, less than half a mile from its centre. It boasts a large football pitch, a pavilion, tennis and pickleball court, small skatepark, plenty of space for a walk or a picnic, and lots of free parking. Surrounded by beautiful countryside and stunning views, Headlands Playing Field is well worth a visit.

Facilities:

Playing field: A large, level pitch perfect for football. It could also accommodate cricket, rounders, ultimate frisbee and more - there's plenty of room for a variety of sports and activities, and a free large car park for players and spectators to use.

Pavilion: With a defibrillator located outside, the pavilion offers separate changing facilities, including showers and toilets, for both home and visitor teams. It has a separate kitchen and social space with an accessible toilet - perfect for match days, community gatherings or parties. There are also a couple of benches located outside for match-day spectators or for those that fancy a picnic!

Tennis and Pickleball Court: Refurbished in 2025 this court is a registered LTA venue. Disabled access, pickleball bats provided, and access to the pavilion toilet and kitchen facilities (for members only).
